Reverend Brian Russell Floyd is a native of Kings Mountain, NC. He answered the call to preach the gospel under the leadership of Dr. Clinton A. Feemster in 1996.
He preached his initial sermon in June of that same year. Revered Floyd received his license from the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Religion and Philosophy from Shaw University in 2001. While pursuing his degree, he became a member of Tupper Memorial Baptist Church.
Reverend Floyd served as pastor of the Fully Committed Baptist Church in Raleigh, North Carolina, for thirteen years and Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Kittrell, NC, for six years He currently serves as pastor of Johnston Piney Grove Baptist Church in Clayton, North Carolina.
Reverend Floyd is married to Mrs. Jacquelyn S. Floyd, and they have two daughters, Elizabeth Leigh and Lauryn Brianna.
