And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles. Acts 14:27

In order to have a closer relationship with our Savior you must educate yourself with the Word of God. We believe that Sunday School is a main component is achieving spiritual growth and allows you to mature in your Christian life.

Sunday morning Bible study groups at 8:45 a.m. provide a chance to learn the Word, ask questions, and have open discussions with your sisters and brothers in Christ.

YOUTH

In this class we use engaging spiritual resources for all children/youth. Students are able to dive deeper into spiritual study and teachers show them practical ways to apply what they learn in the class to their everyday life. The class materials are designed to be easy-to-read and understand and help to discover what is written in the Bible and help answer any questions.

Our goal is to keep the message simple, plant a seed, and let God grow the seed. Johnston Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church’s Bible Study is a place to find out how God’s Word relates to your everyday life and how it can give you deep roots to weather the storms that will come your way.

ADULT

This is a serious Bible study that serves to provide the foundation for dealing which the issues that life brings. Without knowing the Word of God, we will find ourselves doing as those “who did that which was right in their own eyes.” (Judg 17:6; 18:1)

Bible study concerns it self with the study of God’s word, and the classes are taught based on the text of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments.

To offer God’s Word in a fun and creative way to the Johnston Piney Grove community and surrounding areas.

Right Hand of Fellowship

“When James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that had been given to me, they gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised” (Galatians 2:9).

Paul and Barnabas were given the right hand of fellowship. Paul preached to the Gentiles and Peter preached to the Jews, but the gospel was the same. Thank you for faithfulness and making a commitment to your walk with Christ. If you should have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

Do You Have a Burning Testimony?

Yet truth is not just knowledge of doctrines and texts; rather, truth is something that influences the believer on a personal level. Wednesday Noon-Day Prayer presents the opportunity for Christians to fellowship with one another mid-week. Sharing the goodness of the Lord through testimony, singing songs of Praise, and immersing oneself in the word as often as possible is very important to becoming and continuing to be a strong Christian.

OUR GOALS

  • To increase communication with God and God communicating with us through prayer.
  • To increase the knowledge of the will of God.
  • To intercede for the nation, the community, the church, and our family.
  • To pray for each other far and near.
